Blue Rose: Rhy-Wolves for D&D 5th Edition

To celebrate the Blue Rose AGE Edition RPG on Kickstarter from the good folks at Green Ronin, I thought I'd convert some stuff to DnD 5th Edition, out of respect to its legacy as D20 product.

RHY-WOLVES

"The most reclusive of the rhydan, rhy-wolves are most commonly found in the Pavin Weald. They live in tight- knit packs, and a friend of theirs is a friend for life, so they do not bond easily. They can be found in the company of forest folk, and some packs have adopted whole forest folk communities and live together with them. Rhy- wolves are eminently practical, sometimes ruthless, but also proud and honorable."

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Strength score increases by 1.

Age. Rhy-Wolves mature faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 4. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 40 years.

Alignment. Rhy-Wolves lean toward law

Size. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 50 feet.

Darkvision. You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Fangs. You are proficient with your unarmed strikes, which deal 1d4 piercing damage on a hit.

Howl. As a bonus action, you may let out a howl and gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidate) checks.

Lupine. You have proficiency in Survival and have advantage on your roll to track a creature.  Additionally, add your Wisdom modifier to your Initiative roll.

Savagery. You have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks to grapple a creature.

Psychic. You can communicate telepathically with any creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You don’t need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathic utterances, but the creature must be able to understand at least one language.

Arcanum.  You can use your psychic gifts to wield weapons and shields.  When attacking with melee or ranged weapons, use your Intelligence instead of Dexterity or Strength.

Cannot Speak.  You cannot speak in humanoid tongues and are limited to the normal vocalizations of a horse.

Limited Manipulation.  You have no hands or opposable thumbs, so you cannot easily manipulate objects. You have disadvantage on Dexterity checks using tools.
