I had quite a bit of input from yesterday's post (a huge thanks to all of you who responded) and I've got a bit of a hybrid between both options.
Below are an Orc and an Orc Shaman so I could showcase powers.
Further input is greatly appreciated.

I am quite pleased that someone in the Old-School blog sphere is picking up Savage Words. It is not a game that ever really connected well with me despite it being a good game.
This will be my go to for all cool Savage Words material!
Looks nice.
I was a little skeptical about messing with the standard block, but you've sold me. You've put the most used elements at the top and in a logical progression. The only thing I'm not keen on is how you moved the location of Pace. Logically it makes sense, but "Pace, Parry, Toughness" is pretty deeply ingrained in my brain.
To make these perfect, add a short description for each power/edge, like the closest to their mechanical functions the better with as few words as possible.
As it is, they all work up until you decide to use an edge or a power, then you either must just -know- or consult a rulebook to use it perfectly.
I'm fine with the descriptions of Powers and Edges being lumped together alphabetically elsewhere. After all, as it stands what you present is tight and clean. Adding description, no matter how short, ultimately muddy's the concise stat block.
