I can see replacing the Shi'ar with Eladrin or Shadar-Kai.

Maybe I need to steel a Dungeon idea from Arcade?
I can even see taking ideas for races from the X-Men. Eladrin could look like Nightcrawler. Winged Elves like Angel.
