I know this will sound heretical, but why give the Wolfman more than a single hit die? If I recall correctly, he died of a single silver-bullet gunshot. When facing 0-level Humans, he doesn't need any more hit dice. They are all AC 10 or 9 with 1-6 hit points each and will die from a single attack as it is.
@Grymlorde, I still wanted him to be a bit of a challenge for warriors and mages, but it is a very good point.
